Our commitment to a cleaner world

At VELP we have set ourselves the goal of being a Green Company since many years to ensure a better environment for future generations.

We believe in a development that can be independent from any kind of potentially polluting and non-renewable energy!

Through a substantial investment we have carried out an energy requalification of our headquarters in Italy.

We can save up to 80% of the operating costs compared to a traditional system and the benefits also extend to lower CO2 emissions and reduced environmental impact.

Bronze medal in EcoVadis sustainability rating

We are proud to be recognized with the EcoVadis bronze medal, placing us among the top companies globally for sustainability.

The EcoVadis methodology, based on international standards like the UN Global Compact, Global Reporting Initiative, and ISO 26000, evaluates 21 criteria across four key themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. For this reason, it provides a robust framework for businesses to measure, improve, and communicate their sustainability performance.

This recognition reflects our commitment to implementing tangible actions in economic, environmental, and social areas while creating value for customers and contributing positively to society and the environment.

Solar and geothermal energy to reduce CO2 emissions

We have installed 750 m² of high-efficiency photovoltaic panels that use solar energy making the company more energy self-sufficient.

VELP's efforts go in the direction of the production of clean energy from renewable sources and, therefore, towards projects with both strategic importance and a strong value for the reduction of emissions and dependence on fossil fuels.

In the same way, we transfer our commitment to environmental protection in the choice of ecological materials for our products and especially in the development of Energy Saving technologies that reduce consumption and preserve the environment.
