Vortex mixers, or vortexers or vortex shakers, are devices used in laboratories to mix small vials of liquid. Vortex mixers agitate fluid samples using vortex generation, from gentle shaking to high-speed mixing applications. When a test tube is pressed into the rubber cup (or touched to its edge) the motion is transmitted to the liquid inside and a vortex is created.
VELP vortex mixers are both analog and digital and with adjustable stirring speed, with IR sensor, touch or continuous mode. Wizard vortex mixers feature low profile and special materials for excellent convenience and robustness.
VELP vortex mixers are designed for a wide range of laboratory applications.
